Just Freehold Energy Corp. (JFEC) is a private Canadian energy company focused on finding and developing oil and natural gas rights owned by individual freehold owners (freehold mineral rights) in a JUST and economically efficient manner.
JFEC was founded by freehold mineral rights owners intent on changing how freehold mineral rights are developed in western Canada. JFEC is committed to leasing and developing freehold mineral rights using the ‘freeholder-friendly’ lease agreement developed by the Freehold Owners Association (FHOA), fairly balancing the interests of both the owner of the resource and the energy company.
FHOA is a not for profit organization providing education and information to freeholders and seeking greater fairness for freehold owners. Many of our shareholders are freehold owners who belong to the Freehold Owners Association (FHOA).
